At UFS, our first recommendation is to ensure that all shipments are insured. We can help companies secure cargo insurance through our partners. However, it’s up to each business to decide whether to bear the risk of shipping without insurance. Please note that we are not responsible for any payments or refunds in the case of accident or incident.
What is the difference between Full Truck Load and Less than Truck Load transportation??
Certain goods are transported separately from other types of merchandise. For temperature-sensitive items, using a refrigerated truck for full truckload (FTL) shipments is ideal. Other goods can also be shipped as full truckloads, while less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments involve combining loads from different shippers on the same truck.
The main difference is that FTL offers a dedicated truck for your cargo with direct delivery from point A to point B. In contrast, LTL shipments are consolidated with other cargo and make several stops before reaching their final destination.
